Mrs. Parker is Managing Director of the Alberta Prosperity Fund. In this role she manages the day-to-day operations of the Fund including finance and administration. As a payroll compliance specialist and Certified Public Accountant, Rosemary specializes in accounting, employee compensation and benefits. Prior to her position with the Fund, Rosemary was Assistant Chief Financial Officer for a national actuarial and accounting firm. Rosemary is a member of the Glencoe Club and serves on the Events Committee for the Ranchmen’s Club of Calgary. When she is not working, Rosemary can be found on the golf course or at the hockey rink with her family.
Mr. McCormick is a Member of the Board for the Alberta Prosperity Fund. He presently serves as Vice President, Land at Venturion Oil. A successful oil and gas entrepreneur, he has been working in the industry since graduating from university in 1979. Mr. McCormick is also an experienced grassroots political activist and was a volunteer with the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta since 1989 eventually serving as President of the PC Association of Alberta. He has served as a Member of the Energy and Environment subcommittee of the Alberta Economic Development Authority and the Senate of the University of Calgary. Mr. McCormick is an Institute-certified Director through the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Mr. Dale Bossert is a Member of the Board of the Alberta Prosperity Fund. He is President of DWB Oilfield Consulting. A seasoned oil & gas executive with more than 45 years’ experience in upstream E & P, Mr. Bossert has has been a Director of Gasfrac Energy Services Ltd. and Forbes Energy Services LLC. He has also held senior executive positions with numerous US and Canadian based energy companies. Mr.Bossert was elected to the Board of the Calgary Southeast Conservative Association in 2001 where he served as President for four terms. Mr. Bossert served as Campaign Manager for The Hon. Jason Kenney MP for the four federal elections prior to 2015, garnering the most votes in the country for the last three of those campaigns. He was awarded the Maple Leaf award for volunteerism at the Conservative Convention in Calgary in 2013. He is a member of the Board for the Wildrose Calgary Fish Creek Constituency Association and a Director of the Frontier Centre for Public Policy.
Mr. Crawford is a Member of the Board of the Alberta Prosperity Fund and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee. Mr. Crawford is Chairman and Partner with Catalyst Group where his client service focus includes corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, transaction support, financial engineering, business valuations and litigation support in a variety of industries. Cam has served in a variety of capacities with both the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a director of Rocky Mountain Equipment, the National Music Centre, the Fast and Female Foundation and the Glenbow Ranch Park Board and Foundation. He has been awarded the ICAA Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his contribution to the Chartered Accounting profession and was recognized as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta in 1997.
Mr. Ganden is a Member of the Board of the Alberta Prosperity Fund. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Rocky Mountain Dealerships on February 2, 2015. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Ganden had served as the Corporation’s Chief Operating Officer since May 9, 2011, and, prior to that, had served as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation since its IPO. Mr. Ganden has a long history in the heavy equipment business, serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Hammer Equipment Sales Limited since October 23, 2007 and, prior thereto, was the Corporate Controller at Hammer Equipment Sales Limited for five years. Mr. Ganden attended the University of Lethbridge and received his Bachelor of Management in 1997. Prior to joining Hammer Equipment Sales Limited in 2002, he worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP, Chartered Accountants in Calgary, Alberta where in 2000 he earned his Chartered Accountant designation.
Mr. Larry Kaumeyer is a Member of the Board of the Alberta Prosperity Fund. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Buffalo Inspection Services, a Western Canadian leader in all forms of non-destructive testing with operations in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and throughout Alberta. His most recent role was as CEO of Infracon Energy Services Corporation. Prior to this, Larry was Vice President of Aecon Group Inc. Larry was instrumental in the acceptance of screw piles as CEO of Almita Piling, and his background includes work experience in financial services, government, and investment banking. Prior to joining Almita Piling Inc., Larry held three different Executive roles with ATB Financial. He has a clear track record of business development success, growth and leadership of small and medium sized enterprises in Alberta, and specializes in building high-performing teams. Larry was the founding Chair of Productivity Alberta, and has served as a board member of the Alberta Economic Development Authority, Productivity Alberta, ALUS Canada, and is currently Chairman of the Board of Delta Waterfowl.
Mr. Shiraz Shariff is a Member of the Board of the Alberta Prosperity Fund. Mr. Shariff is Executive Vice President at Catch Resources Inc. as well as President of Alberta Business Connections Ltd. He serves on the Board of North East Sportsplex Society and Calgary Rotary Challenger Park’s Centre for all Abilities Campaign Committee. Mr. Shariff served for four terms as Member of the Alberta Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta from 1995 to 2008. For two of those terms he served as its Presiding Officer in the capacity as Deputy Chair of Committees for the Legislative Assembly. As Chair of International Governance Office he was involved in several initiatives of good governance and capacity building with Alberta’s sister province in South Africa. During his terms in office Mr. Shariff also led several oil and gas delegations during his term of office.
Mr. Yurkovich is a Member of the Board of Alberta Prosperity Fund. He serves as President and a Director of Refraction Asset Management Ltd., a boutique asset management firm focused primarily on energy investments. Prior to this role, Mr. Yurkovich served as Analyst- E & P for Canaccord Genuity and a Research Associate at Desjardins Securities. Mr. Yurkovich is active at both the federal and provincial levels of provincial politics.
Mr. McNamar is the Founder and a Member of the Board of the Alberta Prosperity Fund. He has spent more than 25 years in political fundraising, non-profit management and public relations. Mr. McNamar is an expert in areas of election finance and political operations, non-profit management, major gifts, and corporate sponsorships and has served as an executive and advisor to leadership for some of Canada’s top-tier political, academic, social service and research intensive charities. He has been a member of the ethics and professional development committees for both the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS). Mr. McNamar is an alumnus of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), the premier executive exchange program for the US Department of State. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and serves on the Board of Directors for Sonshine Community Services, Alberta’s largest second stage women’s shelter.
